As we spend more time at home I thought of sharing this easy to make recipe which needs minimal ingredients. The best thing about it is it is super quick, easy and tasty. It can be enjoyed for breakfast or for your mid day bingeing.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
1/4th Cup Chia Seeds
1 Cup of Milk
1 Tbsp Honey
1.5 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- Mix all the ingredients together well and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
2. After 15 minutes remix the mixture again and refrigerate overnight.
3. In the morning remove the pudding from the refrigerator and top it with your favorite fruits and enjoy.
Some Substitution Options
You can use any milk you have at home – Whole milk or Almond milk.
You can also substitute the Honey for Maple Syrup.
If you do not have Cocoa powder but have Hot chocolate you can use that as well. Just remember to reduce the quantity of the sweetener then as Hot chocolate powder contains sugar.
The best thing about this pudding is that is a healthy recipe as Chia seeds are a good source of calcium, omega 3, fiber and iron. A guilt free option to satisfy your hunger.
